Speaking at a recent policy forum, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail emphasized Malaysia’s successful strategy of collaborating with both superpowers without aligning itself exclusively with either bloc. This approach, he explained, has enabled the country to reap significant benefits, particularly in sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital infrastructure, and talent development.
“We don’t see the need to pick sides. Malaysia is open for business and partnerships based on mutual respect and shared progress,” Saifuddin noted.
